Staff

Denise is a Compounding Pharmacist.

She earned her Bachelor of Science from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy and has been trained and certified as a Compounding Pharmacist by Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA) in Houston, TX.

Denise is the owner of Palmetto Pharmaceutical Care, Inc. located inside our office space and specialized in Biodentical Hormone Replacement (BHRT), Hormonal Consultations and other individualized medications.

Denise lives in Mount Pleasant with her husband and three daughters.

Sherrill is our practice office manager.

She has worked in the medical insurance billing and collecting industry for over 10 years.

Sherrill has lived in the Charleston area all of her life.

She lives in Mt. Pleasant with her husband and four children.

Melissa Hunter, M.D., is a native of Charleston. She has long history of treating patients, developing younger generations of doctors, and researching various aspects of senior living.

Doctor Hunter was an associate professor in the Department of Family Medicine, Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine, Charleston.

She received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine, and completed a residency in family medicine at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, S.C. Dr. Hunter also completed a faculty development fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine.

Specializing in family care and heading her own Daniel Island Family Care practice, Doctor Hunter especially focuses on various aspects of menopause. In cooperation with Dana E. King, MD, and Jerri R. Harris, MPH, Dr. Hunter published research book "Dealing with the Psychological and Spiritual Aspects of Menopause Finding Hope in the Midlife". Her related work in the area includes research on the subject of clinical geriatrics: "Management of COPD: Acute Exacerbations and Chronic Stable Disease", by Melissa H. Hunter, MD, and Dana E. King, MD.

Linda is our front desk receptionist.

She will most likely be the first person you meet at our office.

She has worked with different physicians for 16 years.

Linda lives in Daniel Island with her husband.

When not working, she spends time with her three daughters and four grandchildren.

Bonnnie is our practice nurse.

She attended the Western School of Health and Business to receive her CMA degree.

Bonnie has been a nurse for 5 years.

She resides in the Summerville area with her husband.
